  • Pisum sativum 

  • Growing Instructions 

    • Seeds can be sown as soon as the soil is workable  

    • Plant seeds 2-3" apart with a depth of ½-1”  

    • Rows should be 24” apart with a support trellis in the center  

    • Ready to harvest in approximately 52-60 days  

  • Seed Saving 

    • Seeds can be harvested once the pod has turned brown and is dried out on the vine  

    • Once pods are collected, break them open to reveal the seeds 

    • Allow seeds to dry fully, for at least five days or until hard  

    • Seeds should be stored in a cool, dry place and are viable for several years
