The Lindenhurst Memorial Library welcomes displays of items of general interest to the community. Exhibits/displays using Library facilities shall promote one or more of these purposes:
- To promote public library services, collections or programs
- To highlight current issues, events or other subjects of public interest
- To display arts, crafts, photographs, writings or collections when they promote and/or compliment the mission of the Library
We have several display areas including the Lower Lobby Display Case, the walls of the Venetian Room, our Main Lobby Display Case and the Children's Display Case.
The Children's Display case is reserved for our younger patrons (preschool-elementary school) to display their art or collections!

As a painter, Sica finds inspiration in observing the phenomenon of light- whether the fall of natural or artificial light on still life objects, or on the face and form of the human figure.
Frenal Mezilas was born in Haiti and studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts and then continued his scholarship in Mexico. Mezilas teaches painting, drawing and pottery in New York.
