Amish Snap Peas
  • Pisum sativum

  • Growing Instructions

    • Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in the spring

    • Plant seeds 2-3" apart at a depth of ½-1”

    • Rows can be spaced 24” apart with a trellis as support

    • Yield will continue over a 6-week period if continuously picked

    • Ready to harvest in approximately 60-70 days

  • Seed Saving

    • Seeds can be harvested once the pod has turned brown and is dried out on the vine

    • Once pods are collected, break them open to reveal the seeds

    • Allow seeds to dry fully, for at least five days or until hard

    • Seeds should be stored in a cool, dry place and are viable for several years
