Plot: The book is about a boy named Phillip. During World War 2, Phillip lived on the Caribbean Island with his parents. His mother decides to move back to Virginia after the Island was bombed by the Germans. During the trip, the ship is bombed by a German boat and Phillip ends up on a deserted island with a man named Timothy. After a hurricane on the island Timothy gets hurt and dies and Phillip is left alone on the island.
Review: Yes I liked the book because it is about surviving in the wild and I like those kind of books. I also liked the book because of the ending. I would recommend this book to my friend because he is in the boy scouts and he likes anything about survival.
